Why not become a CPR First Aid Instructor –  would you like to teach First Aid or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation ( CPR?)? This course is open to candidates who are at least 18 years of age and who have completed a Heart and Stroke Foundation Basic Life Support (BLS) course within the three months prior to the Instructor course.   Those who wish to teach First Aid  must also have completed a Heart and Stroke Standard First Aid course. After completion of the course, the candidate must be successfully monitored by a Heart and Stroke Foundation Instructor Trainer within six months in order to receive full status. Our course fee includes all taxes, materials and monitoring, providing that the candidate is monitored at one of our in-house programs.

Registration must be received by our registration deadline at least one week before the course so that course materials may be delivered. Please note that there is pre-course reading and review that must be completed. Each participant will be expected to deliver brief presentations during the course.

Our one day First Aid Instructor course is designed for those who are already current Heart and Stroke CPR BLS instructors. The $375.00 fee includes all taxes and materials.  Our two day CPR BLS Instructor course is for those who are not yet taken the program. The $425.00 fee includes all taxes and materials.

C  CPR  AND  BLS Provider HCP CPR RENEWAL Toronto

This Heart and Stroke Foundation  CPR renewal or recertification course is for those who have already taken their CPR training but are in need of renewal.  The “A” level covers adult CPR and choking relief techniques with AED use.  The fee for the A-CPR is $22.00 per person.

The C-CPR renewal  includes adult/child/infant CPR and choking relief techniques with heart attack/stroke signs and symptoms. The course also includes use of the Automated external Defibrillator (AED.) The fee for C-CPR renewal is $35.00 per person. The BLS Provider /Healthcare Provider (HCP-C) level renewal includes all the C-CPR content plus bag valve mask use, two rescuer CPR, jaw thrust and other skills needed by the professional responder. The fee for the HCP-C CPR renewal is $38.00 per person.

Our prices include all taxes and materials. Please bring your previous CPR card with you to the class. We train only through well known agencies e.g. Heart and Stroke Foundation, whose C CPR cards are in effect for one year. Please note that after successful completion of the course,  Heart and Stroke Foundation will email proof of course completion directly to the participant. This 6 – 8 hour  Healthcare Provider HCP-C CPR class is designed for people in medicine, nursing and other healthcare professions and is conducted under the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The course includes all the C- CPR  course content with adult, child and infant CPR, plus AED use.  This HCP-C CPR class also includes  practice in two rescuer CPR, use of the bag valve mask, pulse checking and jaw thrust for spinal injuries.

Please note that Heart and Stroke cards can no longer be issued at classes – the participant may receive a letter of completion indicating that they have completed the training that day, but Heart and Stroke Foundation will email the card directly to the participant after the class – therefore, we must have an accurate email address for each participant. The Heart and Stroke Foundation Healthcare Provider HCP-C CPR card is in effect for one year, but the customer should also refer to their own employer/hospital/college re how often they are required to renew training in their workplace. Standard First Aid  C CPR Heart and Stroke training is a two day program scheduled for 16 – 18 hours including suitable break times. The course includes C CPR with adult, child and infant, plus AED use. The course includes all Emergency  First Aid content with wound care, burns, head and spinal injuries.  The course also includes bone and joint injuries, heat and cold, sudden illnesses and poisons. After successful completion of the practical and written components, a Standard First Aid C CPR card can be issued that is in effect for three years. The training can be renewed within three years by attending a one day renewal class through the original training agency.  Three years after that point the whole course must be taken again in accordance with WSIB requirements.

Our prices include all taxes, textbook and materials. We offer a price of $89.00 for the student, $95.00 for those needing the healthcare provider CPR, or $99.00 for the non-student.

The fee for HCP-C CPR is $49.00 per person.  Our prices include all taxes and materials. The course time frame is 7  – 8 hours including breaks. We train only through well known agencies e.g. Heart and Stroke Foundation (HSF.)

Courses include practical and written testing.
