Scarborough and Rouge Hospital CPR BLS

Scarborough and Rouge Hospital CPR BLS

PLEASE NOTE that due to the current COVID-19 situation the hospital has chosen not to run March classes, but courses will hopefully resume in late April, please see the dates listed below.  This Scarborough  and Rouge Hospital CPR renewal course is a BLS Provider/Healthcare Provider (formerly known as HCP-C) CPR renewal class conducted under Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario and is specifically for Scarborough Hospital employees.  The class includes adult, child and infant CPR and choking relief techniques, along with bag valve mask training, two rescuer CPR, jaw thrust and other healthcare techniques. The participant must be present for the full scheduled course time and complete all required activities in order to receive the CPR card – latecomers will not be admitted and will need to reschedule.

Please note that Heart and Stroke cards are no longer issued at courses – the participant may receive a letter of completion at the class indicating that they have completed the training, but the card will be emailed directly to the participant after the class from Heart and Stroke Foundation – therefore, we must have a valid email address for each participant. For information on our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy please refer to www.citycpr.com – please email us with any questions at  information@citycpr.com  or call us at 416-697-8229 (Cell.)  PLEASE NOTE that we now offer not only renewal classes for those who have taken the training recently, but also full length classes for those without prior training or whose training has long expired, do check the course listing carefully. REMEMBER that Heart and Stroke now demands that if your previous card has gone past its one year expiry period, or is through a different agency,  you MUST pay them a separate $10 fee and successfully complete their online Prerequisite Challenge quiz before you can attend their renewal class.
