Description FEE


Anyone who has completed a full Standard First Aid course within the previous three years is eligible to attend a Standard First Aid renewal course. The student will be asked to provide proof of their prior training. The course will review the essentials of ABC's, severe bleeding, fractures, head/spinal injuries, medical conditions and other content as required.



For Standard First Aid Renewals, both First Aid and CPR, you must attend the whole course (8 1/2 hours).

Please Note: You must renew your Standard First Aid through the agency that originally trained you.


All Courses are run in accordance with the guidelines of the International Liaison Committee on Resucitation (ILCOR-2005).

MNJCC = Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre, Bloor and Spadina, Toronto
Depending on the time of year, certain courses are held only at specific locations - please check the approriate page of the website for the location of the course you need, then check our locations page. If the course location is e.g. MNJCC (Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre at Bloor/Spadina), then it means that the course will be held ONLY at that location on the date specified.

  Please note the following points:

  • Students must be available for the entire scheduled class times
  • All refunds are subject to a $20.00 administrative fee.
  • All returned cheques are subject to a $40.00 fee.
  • If you will be unable to attend a course, please contact us a minimum of 72 hours in advance of the course in order to obtain a refund. After that point no refund will be issued, but the student will be allowed to transfer into another City CPR Centre course within one month of the original course date. After that, the student will be required to re-register and pay the full fee again.
  • Since the course does involve sharing of equipment, it is best to reschedule into another course if you are feelng unwell.
  • The student acknowledges that the course involves physical effort and agrees to inform the instructor of any injury or condition which could be aggravated by their participation in the course and that the City CPR Centre, its employees, directors, officers and agents will not be responsible or liable for any claim, demand, action, present or future damages, or any other losses or liabilites of any description whatsoever which may arise from or in any way be attributed to any illness or injuries which are sustained by me or aggravated while particiating in any course or activity.
